Description

Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day fund finance operations, including capital calls, distributions, quarterly investor reporting, and tax filings
* Prepare and review fund accounting records, management reports, and investor reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Maintain a thorough understanding of fund and management company operations; proactively identify operational issues, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements
* Lead or support projects related to fund operations, process optimization, and system enhancements; manage timelines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
* Liaise with external service providers, including fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and company secretaries
* Support the year-end audit process, including preparation of audit schedules, coordination with auditors, and resolution of audit queries
* Review cash reconciliations, expense payments, and treasury management activities
* Maintain and oversee non-financial records, including LP databases and portfolio company information, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
* Mentor and coach junior team members on day-to-day operational tasks and fund accounting matters
* Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging best practices in fund operations
* Participate in ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Requirements:
Education:
* Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent
professional qualification is preferred

Experience:
* 5-10 years of experience in accounting / finance, with exposure to asset management, private equity, or fund administration
* Solid understanding of fund accounting principles and fund operations; direct experience in a VC/PE fund environment is a strong advantage

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Detail-oriented and organized, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
* Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership
* Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff is a plus
* Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
