We are currently partnering with a leading Insurance firm to find a diligent and eloquent Management Accountant for a 2-3 month contract

The Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation of the monthly management accounts, ensuring everything is "review-ready" for the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Managing the ledger through to Trial Balance.
• Producing detailed Income Statements.
• Handling fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, revenue entries, and expense bookings.
• Performing robust Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Proactively engaging with internal stakeholders to gather data and resolve queries.

The Profile

We are looking for a candidate who is not just technically sound, but a confident communicator who knows how to navigate a corporate structure.

• Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with relevant experience.
• Previous experience within the Insurance sector is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains, Concur, and advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable working in a Windows 11 environment.
• You must be presentable, eloquent, and assertive. You know when to push for information and exactly when to escalate issues rather than letting them sit.
