Description

We are seeking an experienced, dependable CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our well-established California accounting practice. This position is becoming available following the departure of a longtime tax professional who has been with the practice for approximately 40 years, and we are looking for the right person to provide continuity and long-term support to our valued clients.

This is an immediate opening for an experienced professional who is knowledgeable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently within an established practice.

Position & Schedule:

4 days per week
Monday–Thursday — no Fridays
Approximately 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Hours can vary and there is some flexibility
Long-term position
Immediate start preferred

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA)
• Experience with individual and business tax preparation
• Strong tax knowledge and experience working directly with clients
• Familiarity with Creative Solutions Accounting
• Proficiency with UltraTax
• Experience with CFS Payroll
• Knowledge of sales tax and tax tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage client accounts, deadlines, and responsibilities
