Queensland-based cattle operation managing a portfolio of large-scale properties. The business specialises in high-quality Hereford cattle, and is recognised for its significant presence in the regional agricultural industry.
Your new role

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP review, invoice processing, fixed assets, and general ledger integrity

Prepare monthly management reports, cashflow analysis, and performance commentary against budget and forecast

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and identification of business drivers

Deliver financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting to support decision making

Manage compliance requirements including BAS, ABS reporting, and year-end audit support

Assist with month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and reporting accuracy across entities

What you'll need to succeed

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Team-oriented with a proactive and hands-on approach

High attention to detail with effective time management

Ability to work autonomously and drive continuous improvement

Proficiency across Microsoft Office and ERP/accounting systems
