Permanent Company Accountant Position | Inner City Brisbane Location | $100,000 - $110,000 + Super Your new company

Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the following:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, payroll processing, and oversight of accounts payable and receivable activities
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, prepare financial reports, and liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure accurate and compliant reporting
• Administer cash flow, billing, supplier payments, and debtor management while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Maintain compliance with tax, regulatory, and corporate requirements, while assisting with process improvements, internal controls, and administration across assets, contracts, and supplier relationships

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar Company Accountant or operational finance role, with strong technical accounting capability
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills across the business
• Proactive, hands-on approach with well-developed problem-solving ability and solid Excel/systems experience
