Permanent Assistant Accountant - able to start on short notice - Global Manufacturer, up to 85K plus super Your new company
A large electrical and industrial manufacturer with a nationwide footprint is looking for a hands-on Assistant Accountant to join the fast-paced Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, with a dotted line to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial data
• Managing the customer rebates process, including calculations, tracking and reporting
• Analysing daily inventory movements and investigating discrepancies
• Investigating system variances across ERP systems (Oracle and Pronto)
• Supporting sales and product reporting to global head office
• Assisting with audit requirements (internal and external)
• Contributing to budgeting processes and ongoing financial support with the accountants

What you'll need to succeed

Strong experience as an Assistant Accountant with knowledge and exposure to inventory is essential

Working toward or desire to study CA/CPA

Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets

ERP exposure, with ability to work with large volumes

Clear communication skills and ability to liaise with internal stakeholders
