Our client is a leading private equity investment firm seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Accountant to join its Finance team.

Job Description

As an AP Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

• Handling accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payments.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Preparing reports and analysis related to accounts payable activities.
• Supporting audit and tax requirements as needed.
• Contributing to process improvements within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Accountant should have:

• Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
