Description

We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and motivated insurance defense attorney to launch, build, and lead our new firm office. In this dual-role capacity, you will serve as both the strategic business leader for the new territory and practicing attorney.  The attorney is expected to have a portable book of business and a proven history of local carrier/client relationships.  The office will be backed by centralized billing, HR, and IT infrastructure from the firm's existing systems.  All areas of insurance defense are welcome.  For those not interested in management responsibilities, opportunities are still available in the new office.

Requirements

Establish the Office: Work with the firm managing partner to oversee the physical and operational setup of the new location.

Recruitment & Culture: Spearhead the local hiring strategy to recruit top-tier lateral attorneys, associates, paralegals, and support staff. Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and highly skilled office culture.

Market Expansion: Execute a strategic business development plan to cross-sell existing firm clients into the new jurisdiction and secure new local insurance carriers, TPAs, and self-insured corporations.

Portable Book of Business: A portable book of business and a proven history of local carrier/client relationships is highly preferred.

Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the face of the firm in the local legal and insurance communities through networking, industry panels, and professional associations.
