Our client, an international PE fund is looking a Principal to join the regional insurance solutions team

About the job:

• Develop and execute regional insurance coverage strategies aligned with firm-wide objectives.
• Provide thought leadership on Asian insurance industry trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors impacting investment opportunities.
• Author and present high-impact white papers, conference materials, and market outlooks for senior stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for C-suite executives at leading insurers across Asia.
• Drive multi-product engagement strategies, ensuring seamless coordination across investment, credit, and alternative asset platforms.
• Lead high-level client meetings, prepare strategic briefing materials, and deliver compelling presentations tailored to client priorities.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities with regional insurers, leveraging deep market knowledge and prior transaction experience.
• Partner with global teams to structure innovative solutions addressing client investment needs across asset classes.
• Lead the creation of industry insights, including financial analyses, regulatory updates, and competitive benchmarking.
• Spearhead participation in major insurance conferences and client events, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor in the Asian insurance space.

Requirements:

• 8-12+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or insurance-related financial services, with a strong track record in client coverage and transaction execution.
• Deep understanding of Asian insurance markets, regulatory frameworks, and investment trends.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to drive business growth and manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
