Price Check is a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium glassware, torches, and lifestyle products, with multiple consumer brands across the U.S. We operate a fast-paced warehouse and import business based in Los Angeles, supplying retailers nationwide.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, highly accountable CPA to manage core accounting functions, including tax filings, reconciliations, AR, and compliance in our dynamic multi-entity environment.

Tax Compliance:

Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns for multiple states.
Manage tobacco excise tax filings, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Track and reconcile excise tax payments, resale certificates, and distributor licenses.
Coordinate with external tax advisors for annual returns and audits.

Accounting & Reconciliations:

Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities.
Maintain the general ledger, adjusting journal entries as needed for accuracy.
Prepare and review financial statements for management and CPA review.
Assist with invoice audits, vendor payment verification, and expense accuracy

Requirements

Active CPA license (or CPA candidate) strongly preferred.
3–6 years of accounting experience; distribution or manufacturing experience is a plus.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Desktop required; Excel proficiency essential.
Strong understanding of sales/use tax and tobacco excise tax reporting.
Experience handling high-volume AR and reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
