We are a mid-sized, bay area CPA Firm who has been servicing Small Business & High Net Worth individuals on the Peninsula for over 75 years. We pride ourselves on employing a diverse work force. Our team members have strong knowledge in their field and work well independently but are comfortable sharing their expertise in a team setting as well. Responsibilities
Prepare Federal and State Income tax returns for individuals, Limited Liability
Companies, and S-Corporations
Review/analyze prior years’ filings for accuracy
Correspond with clients regarding tax information and documentation
Meet with clients to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and allowances
Meet with client's and discuss their income tax results and procedures for filing
Advise clients on the full spectrum of tax services, including but not limited to:
planning, research, and compliance
File federal, state, and local tax documents, extensions and quarterly payments
through CCH Prosystems Tax software
Collaborate with other Associates to validate tax laws, procedures, forms
and methodology used in preparation of returns
Demonstrate understanding of GAAP and Statutory audit rules by performing compilation, review and audit engagements

Qualifications:
Current CPA or EA license, or CTP certification
4-5 years of tax experience preparing returns for individuals, limited liability companies, Trusts and Corporations(C&S)
Compliation Review & Audit experience required
Ability to complete complex individual tax returns (1040) that contain, all Schedule’s, including, FBAR, form 8938, stock sales, property sales, home office allocations, back door IRA conversions, multi state, non-resident state filings, K-1 entries, 1031 exchanges, ISO's, NSO's, RSU's
Comprehensive communication skills in order to articulate complex tax matters to
clients and other staff members in a clear and concise manner
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to research and investigate additional tax resources as needed for complex
client returns
Personable
Good Sense of humor – A must!
